New record set in 10000m at Army Athletics Championships - 2018
2018-10-31S/A100462 Gnr Sanmugeshwaren K excelled in the men's 10000m final to secure gold medal while establishing a new Army meet record on the 3rd day of the Army Athletics Championship - 2018 at the Sugathadasa National Sports Complex in Colombo.
He set a new Army meet record by clocking 30 min. 35 sec. and erasing the previous record of 30 min. 39 sec. set by Sgt Cooray AAIM in 2005. Regiment of Artillery congratulates the Gunner for his excellent performances.
