The Graduation Ceremony and Dinner Night - YOC 48
2022-05-12Eleven young officers have stepped in to the family of professional Gunners on 07 May 2022, after successful completion of the Young Officers' Preparatory Course - 48, conducted from 01 February 2022 to 07 May 2022 at the School of Artillery, Minneriya.
Major General KTADS Kolambathantri RWP RSP USP psc IG, the Military Secretary - AHQ, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Number of senior officers and representatives from all regiments were presented for the glamorous event. Day's proceedings began with the final presentation on "Battle of Randeniwela".
At the termination of a comprehensive presentation, the graduation ceremony was held. 2/Lieutenant RHKD Ranasinghe SLA of 10 SLA was awarded with the "Silver Gun" as he was placed in the first in order of merit based on best overall performances in the course. The Culmination of the entire event marked the Mess Night held at the Officers Mess, with the participation of healthy number of officers.
