Colonel Commandant Marked His Maiden Visit to 11 SLA (RFT)
2022-11-18The Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu and Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Artillery, Major General Sanjaya Wanasinghe marked his maiden visit to 11th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery (RFT) at Selvary, Talaimannar on 17 November 2022.
The Colonel Commandant was accorded with a Drive Pass at the main entrance of 11 SLA (RFT) and welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel KGMP Gunatilaka USP SLA. Subsequently, the Colonel Commandant planted a sapling to mark his visit followed by a Group Photograph in front of RHQ 11 SLA (RFT). Then, the Commanding Officer briefed the present deployment of the unit, role and task. At the end, the Colonel Commandant addressed the troops and also distributed dry ration packs to unit civil servants. The day's programme concluded with all Ranks tea at 35 Battery Building.
