Sri Lanka Artillery Won ‘A’ & ‘B’ Division Championship of the Army Inter Regiment Cricket Tournament 2014
2014-08-13Sri Lanka Artillery won the ‘A’ Division Championship of the Army Inter Regiment Cricket Tournament 2014 for third consecutive year, beating Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police by 5 Wickets. The match was played at the Sri Lanka Army Cricket Grounds Panagoda on 13th August 2014. Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Lt BAW Mendis SLA was awarded the trophy for Man of the match during award ceremony. Sri Lanka Artillery ‘B’ team also won the ‘B’ Division Championship by beating Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment ‘B’ team. 17 Regiments took part in the Inter Regiment Cricket Championship 2014.
