Handing over of Command – 8 SLA
2015-05-01Relinquishment of Command of 8th Medium Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery took placed between Lt Col K A U Kodituwakku RSP USP psc IG SLA and Lt Col M J R S Medagoda RSP psc IG SLA on 30 April 2015 at Minneriya. Ceremonial Parade was accorded to both outgoing and incoming Commanders by the Unit members and brief religious ceremony was held at the 8 SLA Headquarter premises. Lt Col M J R S Medagoda RSP psc IG SLA assumed duties as the 12th Commanding Officer of the 8th Medium Regiment.
