12 SLA the Champions of Artillery Inter Regiment Volleyball Championship - 2015
2015-05-0912 SLA won the Sri Lanka Artillery Inter Unit Volleyball Championship - 2015 by defeating 9 SLA in three straight sets at Minneriya Volleyball Arena on 09 May 2015. The finals were held under lights and 9 SLA team put up a tough fight making the match breathtakingly exiting. This year's win count to be its 10th successful claim for Championship by 12 SLA in the history of Sri Lanka Artillery Volleyball and remarkably, 9 SLA made its maiden debut into the finals of the Artillery Inter Regiment Volleyball Championship this year marking a promising future in the sport. Colonel Commandant, Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG graced the evening as the Chief Guest and took part in the price awarding ceremony to appreciate special talents during the tournament. Brigadier NLK Samarasinghe RSP IG, Commander Artillery Brigade, Deputy Centre Commandant, Commanding Officers and many Artillery senior officers were seen among the cheering crowd in the grand finale. Colonel Commandant and All Ranks of Regiment of Artillery extend their greetings to the Champions of year 2015.
