The Officers Training Day of Sri Lanka Artillery.
2016-03-30The Officers Training Day of Sri Lanka Artillery was held on 29 March 2016 at the Regimental Centre, Panagoda with the participation of more than 150 officers including the Colonel Commandant Major General Sumith Manawaduge.
The days events were comprised with morning PT, Drill session for young officers, informative and thought provoking presentations listed below:
Threat Perception - Major General Sumith Manawaduge.
Working with people - Colonel Prasanna Gunarathne.
The Insurgency in Sri Lanka 1987 - 1989 - Officers of 6 SLA.
Mr Lakshman Jayasekara, project director and team leader, western region Megapolis planning project conducted a very informative presentation on recent developments policies with special reference to Megapolis projects during the Dinners Club at the Officers' Mess, which concluded the Training Day successfully.
