Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch Celebrated International Women's Day 2016
2016-04-04The Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch (ASVB) organized a wide range of activities to mark World Women's Day on 3rd April 2016 at the Artillery Complex in Minneriya with the presence of its chairperson Mrs Sudharma Manawaduge, members of the ASVB and about 150 other ranks families.
With the invitation of the Seva Vanitha Branch, the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment, Major General Sumith Manawaduge, Commander Artillery Brigade, Brigadier Kumar Samarasinghe and many other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
The programme was unfolded with an array of entertaining segments followed by distribution of grocery hampers and gifts for each family with the precious sponsorship of Hayleys Private Limited. All the participants were provided with refreshments and a delicious lunch at the 7 SLA premises.
