Brigadier AS Hewawitharana Assumed Duties as the Centre Commandant of the Regiment of Artillery
2016-08-08Brigadier AS Hewawitharana RSP USP IG assumed duties as the Centre Commandant of the Regiment of Artillery on 8th August 2016 in a simple ceremony held at Regimental Centre, Panagoda. First he reviewed the Guard Turnout presented by the RHQ. Then after a brief religious observances and lighting the traditional oil lamp, Brigadier Shantha Hewawitharana placed his signature for a formal document in a presence of Regimental staff to signify the acceptance of duties and responsibilities of the new appointment.
