Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch celebrated World Children's Day

"Children are the world's most valuable resource and its best hope for the future." 150 children of Artillery other ranks together with their parents gathered at the 4th Artillery Auditorium to celebrate the international children's day on Saturday the 22nd of October 2016.

All the children and their parents were served a delicious breakfast and a milk pack on their arrival. Magic show was held thereafter and a singing and dancing session to show off their hidden talents. All those who participated in the talent contest were given a school bag, Mug and a soft toy. While having loads of entertainment they were all given an Ice cream cup. After that an attractive gift pack (books, coloured pens, pencils, erasers, felt pen boxes, pastel boxes, Magnetic pencil boxes with cutters, lunch boxes, bottles, school bags, Odel T-Shirts according to each child's size, chocolates, toffees, candies, Kellogg's packs) and a parcel filled with Maggi Noodles with pens and key tags were given to each child.

All parents and children were served with lunch and wonder bar ice creams for dessert. Artillery Seva Vanitha branch expresses its gratitude to all donors and well wishes for providing gift items, food and cash contributions to make the event a success.
