7th Light Regiment celebrated its 28th Anniversary
2016-11-257th Light Regiment celebrated its 28th Anniversary at the Artillery Complex Minneriya with giving precedence to religious rituals. The celebration commenced by laying flower wreath to Regimental Monument at RHQ SLA Panagoda by the Commanding Officer Lt Col S I P Vidanagamage RSP IG SLA to remembrance fallen heroes of the unit. A Traditional Pooja at Minneriya Devalaya, Bodhi Pooja, Regiment Day Parade, Planting a Sandalwood Sapling, All Rank Lunch, WO's and Sgt Mess Dinner, NCO's Get Together and Officers Mess Dinner Night featured in the celebrating programme.
