15th UAV Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery Celebrated the 1st Anniversary
2017-04-1115th UAV Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery celebrated 1st Anniversary on 8 April 2017 at Balalla - MAHO after postpone its' real date from 21st March 2017, due to non availability of the Commanding Officer. A series of anniversary ceremonies that began in the third week of March prior to the regiment day which included a Monument parade remembering the war hero who sacrifice his life during the war, a 'Shramadana' campaign to clean up the Kalabu Raja Maha Viharaya and its' surroundings at Balalla - MAHO, Bodi Poojawa in Balalla camp premises followed by the 'Kiripidu Danaya' in Sri Maha Bodi and NCO's get together.
The Commanding Officer of 15th UAV Regiment Colonel C S Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP psc IG reviewed the Guard Turnout and Regimental Day Parade marking the 1st anniversary day giving priority to the custom and traditions of the Regiment. All Rank Lunch and WO's & Sgt's get together featured in the days programme and concluded with the Officers' get together on 9 April 2017.
