Refurbished Gymnasium of Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery was Ceremonially Opened
2017-04-23Much needed Gymnasium of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery was ceremonially opened by the Colonel Commandant SLA on 22 April 2017 in coincide with 129th Regiment day events. It was much needed to upgrade the existing gymnasium of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery whom have produced most renowned athletes & sportsmen of Sri Lanka, such as Asian sprinter Bdr Himasha Eshan, WO 1 Prasanna Amarasekera, WO1 Chaminda Wijekoon and many other athletes & rising stars of other games like Lt Ajantha Mendis & WO11 Asela Gunaratne (Cricket) are some of them who brought glory to the country.
