THE PASSING OUT PARADE OF THE POST DEPOT COURSE FD - 228
2025-06-04The passing out parade of the Post Depot Course FD – 228 was successfully held on 31 May 2025 at School of Artillery, Minneriya. There were 46 well motivated soldiers joined the 'Gunner Family' after successful completion of 03 months strenuous training.
S/2137665 Gnr Edirisingha EASD of 14 Rocket Regiment emerged as the "Best Gunner" and he was awarded with a replica of the "Zam Zama Gun".
Commandant Defence Services Command and Staff College and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps, Major General H H K S S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc graced the occasion as the chief guest and his address during the event was undoubtedly a great motivation to all new gunners.
A distinguished gathering of senior officers, including the Commander Artillery Brigade, Commanding Officers, officers, other ranks and proud family members of the newly inducted gunners, were present to witness this memorable occasion.
