NEW COMMANDER 552 INFANTRY BRIGADE ASSUMED DUTIES
2025-06-23Colonel NC Lokugalappaththi IG assumed duties as the 21st Brigade Commander of the 552 Infantry Brigade on 23 June 2025 at the Headquarters 552 Infantry Brigade - Poonaryn amidst formal military traditions.
Upon his arrival he was warmly welcomed by the Civil Affairs Officer along with the Commanding Officers of the 22 VIR and 2 SLNG Regiment to the camp premises by offering him a Guard Turnout.
Then the Senior Officer placed his signature in formal document symbolizing the assumption of duties. Further, the programme was included the planting of a sapling to mark the occasion, a troop address and a briefing with participation of Staff Officers.
