OFFICERS' TRAINING DAY OF SRI LANKA ARTILLERY -2/2025
2025-06-23 The Officers’ Training Day Programme organized by the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery serves as a vital platform for advancing the professional development, leadership capabilities, and tactical expertise of Sri Lanka Army officers. This well-rounded initiative is designed to equip officers with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead effectively, make sound decisions in dynamic environments, and perform with distinction in operational contexts.
Officers Training Day of Sri Lanka Artillery was held on 23rd June 2025 at the Regimental Centre, Panagoda, with the participation of Adjutant General of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP nps psc along with Senior Officers and Officers. The Training day proceedings starts with the Physical Training session. and followed by the lectures of ‘Strengthening Military Professionalism for Operational Success of the Sri Lanka Army’ and ‘Introduction to Declaration of assests and laibilities’.
The day’s proceedings terminated, with an informative and timely lecture by Prof. Gamini De Alwis on “Career Progression and Personality" during the Diners Club at the Officers Mess, and the Officers Training Day concluded successfully, after enriching and inspiring Gunner Officers, on professional development towards Glory and Success.
