ASSUMING DUTIES AS THE REGIMENTAL CENTRE COMMANDANT OF SRI LANKA ARTILLERY ON 24 JUNE 2025
2025-06-24Brigadier C D Welagedara USP IG assumed duties as the 24th Regimental Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Artillery on 24 June 2025 at the Regimental Headquarters, Panagoda.
The day's proceedings were commenced with the Guard Turnout at the main entrance of the Regimental Headquarters. The incoming Centre Commandant was welcomed by the Deputy centre commandant and the Staff Officers of the RHQ SLA. The Centre Commandant placed his signature for a formal document in a presence of Regimental Staff to signify the acceptance of duties and responsibilities of the new appointment after brief religious observances.
After assuming duties as the Centre Commandant, Senior Officer and other officers attended for the all ranks Tea at ORs Mess of 4 SLA followed by a troop address at auditorium of 4 SLA.
