MAIDEN VISIT OF GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 23 INFANTRY DIVISION TO THE 7TH LIGHT REGIMENT OF SRI LANKA ARTILLERY
2025-06-27The General Officer Commanding of the 23 Infantry Division, Maj Gen GPP Kulathilaka ndc commenced his inaugural visit to the 7th Light Regiment of the Sri Lanka Artillery on 26 June 2025. The senior officer was accorded with a Guard Turnout and the Commanding Officer, Lt Col TMCB Telwadana RSP USP psc IG SLA extended a warm welcome to the GOC upon his arrival, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere.
To mark the significance of the visit, a special commemorative moment took place with the planting of a sapling of the Sandalwood tree. The visit was unfolded with troops address, camp visit, all rank tea party and the signing of visitors’ book by the GOC.
The Commander 231 Inf Bde, MGA Malandeniya RSP and General Staff Officer I (Ops) 23 Inf Div, Lt Col GRRKS Jayarathne RSP psc IG accompanied the General Officer Commanding on the visit.
