MEDICAL OUTREACH PROGRAMME SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTED BY 14 ROCKET REGIMENT

In a significant move toward enhancing community welfare and personnel health, the 14 Rocket Regiment of the Sri Lanka Artillery organized a comprehensive medical camp at Camp premises on 24 February 2026 at Kalankuttiya.

The initiative was executed through the collaborative efforts of the Commanding Officer and all Ranks of 14 Rocket Regiment with Unit Seva Vanitha Branch, the Medical Officer of Health – Galnewa, and the Mobile Dental Unit – Anuradhapura.

The program facilitated comprehensive medical examinations for military personnel, their families, and residents from the surrounding community, drawing an attendance of over 180 participants. Under the expert supervision of medical staff from the MOH – Galnewa and the Mobile Dental Unit – Anuradhapura, the clinic provided essential diagnostic screenings.

These services included kidney function assessments, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol testing, as well as blood sugar evaluations and professional dental examinations, ensuring a holistic approach to the attendees' health and well-being.
