Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch Donates RO Plant to Ayurvedic Hospital – Minneriya

The Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch donated a Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification plant to the Ayurvedic Hospital – Minneriya on 10 March 2026, with the aim of providing safe and clean drinking water for patients and staff of the hospital.

The hospital provides treatment for nearly 90 patients daily, including both admitted patients and those attending the Outpatient Department (OPD). The installation of the RO plant will greatly enhance the availability of safe drinking water within the hospital premises.

The construction and installation of the RO plant were carried out by 7 Sri Lanka Artillery under the supervision of the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General KVNP Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, together with the guidance of the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch Sri Lanka Artillery, Mrs. Vindya Premaratne.

The occasion was graced by them along with Senior Officers, Officers, members of the Seva Vanitha Branch and relevant government authorities.
