Colonel RHK Menaka RSP USP psc IG Assumes Duties as the Commander 522 Infantry Brigade

Colonel RHK Menaka RSP USP psc IG officially assumed duties as the Commander of the 522 Infantry Brigade on 01 July 2026, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished military career.

Marking the commencement of the occasion, the incoming Brigade Commander reviewed the Guard Turnout presented upon arrival at the Headquarters premises. The formal assumption of duties was conducted following religious observances. As part of the day’s proceedings a ceremonial planting of a sapling was conducted at the Brigade premises. Subsequently, he addressed the troops and conveyed his vision and expectations while emphasizing professionalism and discipline among all ranks serving under his command.

The event was attended by Commanding Officers, Senior Officers and troops under command to the 522 Infantry Brigade. They warmly welcomed the newly appointed Commander and extended their best wishes for a successful tenure.
