Programme for assuming duties commenced with reviewing the Guard Turnout presented by the unit .Then as a symbolic gesture of taking over the command, Lt Col K A P Karawita RSP USP placed his signature for a formal document after a brief religious observance. The itinerary has included with planting of a mango sapling, troop address and all ranks tea.
