CLOSING REMARKS OF BASIC DRONE OPERATOR TRAINING 15 UAV REGIMENT SLA
2020-08-03 Basic Drone Operator training of 151 Battery came to an end with the Certificate Award Ceremony grazed by the Commander of Artillery Brigade.The 151 Battery mark the history of Sri Lanka Artillery as the first DRONE Battery formed with the vision of the CDS and the Commander of the Army in order to meet the requirement and challenges envisaged by 'Army Way Forward 2025'.
This training was mainly focused to give competency to the troops in order to handle DRONEs with confidence as a small team to operate in any situation or environment. The Commander Artillery Brigade in his closing address paid gratitude with great honour to the CDS and the Commander of the Army for giving opportunity for UAV Regiment to resume functioning in its specified Role and Tasks. Also special thanks to the Defense Secretary for his concern on DRONE Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery.Special remarks were made to pay his sincere gratitude tothe Colonel Commandant for all his guidance. The small dignified ceremony was concluded with all ranks tea.
