8th Medium Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery proudly celebrated it's 27th Anniversary
2021-01-048th Medium Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery proudly celebrated its 27th Anniversary by abiding strict Covid -19 precautionary measures.
The Commencement of the ceremony marked with conducting a Pooja at Minneriya Dewalaya on 23 December 2020 by the Commanding Officer Lt Col WSAB Dharmarathne RSP USP psc IG SLA with Offrs and ORs. Other activities which have taken in line with the anniversary celebrations as:
a. Bodhi Pooja at Camp Temple - Kokavil on 29 December 2020.
b. Guard Turnout accorded to the Commanding Officer on 1 January 2021 at Regiment Headquarters - Kokavil.
c. Launching of planting 200 x saplings at Iranamadu Tank Reservoir and distribution of 7500 nos of saplings to under command fmns of Security Force Headquarters (KLN), with the direction of the Commander Security Force Headquarters (KLN) and the Colonel Commandant Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Maj Gen KNS Kotuwegoda ndc IG on 01 January 2021.
d. Troop Address and All Ranks Tea on 2 January 2021 at Regiment Headquarters - Kokavil.
e. Inaugural of "Green Villa" Holiday Home on 2 January 2021 at Regiment Headquarters - Kokavil.
