Colonel Commandant Marked His Maiden Visit to 8 SLA
2022-11-18The Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu and Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Artillery, Major General Sanjaya Wanasinghe marked his maiden visit to 8th Medium Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery at Muthiyankaddukulam, Oddusudan on 15 November 2022.
The Colonel Commandant was welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel NTN Jayawardena RSP USP SLA at the entrance. Subsequently, the Colonel Commandant planted a sapling to mark his visit followed by a Troops address and distribution of dry ration packs to unit civil servants. The day's event was concluded with an all Ranks Tea at the NCO's Club.
