Assuming the office as the Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army
2023-07-21The Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Artillery Major General W A S S Wanasinghe RSP VSV USP ndu assumed the office as the 62nd Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army on 20 June 2023 at the Army Headquarters.
Major General W A S S Wanasinghe RSP VSV USP ndu placed his signature in a formal document as a symbolic gesture of taking over the duties, in the presence of Senior Officers and the staff of the COS office after a brief religious rituals and by lighting a traditional oil lamp.
