The General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division Marked His Maiden Visit to 7 SLA
2023-07-21The General Officer Commanding of the 23 Infantry Division, Brigadier K V N P Premarathne RSP USP psc, marked his maiden visit to 7 Light Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, Minneriya on 13 July 2023. The General Officer Commanding was accorded a drive-pass at the main entrance and welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel R N C Y Ramanayake psc IG SLA. At the outset Commanding Officer briefed the role, tasks, and the deployment of the Regiment. The visit was followed by a Planting a sapling (Ceylon Ironwood Tree), Troop address and a Camp Visit.
