Medical Aid to Mr K H N Kodagoda Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch
2023-10-11The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, under the patronage of the President of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Chama Wanasinghe, organizing various welfare programs/activities to uplift the livelihood of needy Officers/Other Ranks and Civil servants of the Regiment. This includes various scholarship programs, donation programs, welfare activities, medical Aid and many more.
In line with the theme, "Humanity above all" The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Artillery Regiment managed to coordinate a generous donor to obtain pair of spectacles to Mr K H N Kodagoda (waiter) on 26 September 2023, which was immensely benefited and timely need. Mr Kodagoda attached to School of Artillery at present, and a loyal and trustworthy person to the Organization.
Showing utmost generosity, Mr Laxman Goonarathne, the founder of George Goonarathne Optometrist, humbly volunteered to this invaluable endeavor, by donating a spectacle worth of Rs 50000.00. President of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Chama Wanasinghe personally worked tirelessly in managing and coordinating the charity, with an incomparable humanity.
