Assistant Instructors in Gunnery Seminar - 2023
2023-11-23Under the aegis of the Colonel Commandant and all members of the Regimental Council, the School of Artillery reached another milestone by successfully conducting the Assistant Instructors in Gunnery (AI's G) Seminar - 2023 on November 18, 2023 with the participation of 71 AIsG.
The Commander Artillery Brigade, Brigadier S P Malawarage RSP USP IG graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and his thought provoking keynote speech served as a source of inspiration to all. Three research groups presented their findings on following disciplines:
* Measures to improve the quality/ standards of the Artillery Unit Training.
* Examine possible services could be provided by survey section of Independent Locating Battery for the betterment of Officers and Other Ranks of the Regiment of Artillery in particular and to the Army in general.
* Examine the measures to enhance the knowledge on GIS of AIsG and to study ways to incorporate a comprehensive package of GIS into course curriculum.
The Participants of this annual event brought out numerous important and valued thoughts in line with discussed topics which undoubtedly assist future development of Regiment.
