EMPOWERING EXCELLENCE: RECAP OF THE SENIOR NON COMMISSIONED OFFICERS' WORKSHOP (2024-1)

Under the insightful guidance of the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, with direct supervision from the Regimental Council, the School of Artillery hosted the Senior Non Commissioned Officers' Workshop (2024-1). This dynamic event witnessed the active participation of 50 seasoned non commissioned officers.

The workshop was so systematically designed to elevate the knowledge and personal skills of senior non commissioned officers within the Sri Lanka Artillery. Participants delved into subjects including leadership, introduction to the organization of the Army, Civil Law/Military Law, grievance handling and management in the workplace, responsibilities and duties of SNCO at the unit level, welfare measures in the Sri Lanka Army, social etiquettes, Human Resource Management and principles, event management, team building activities.

During the workshop the thought-provoking lecture conducted by the Colonel Commandant served as a source of encouragement for all participants.

The pinnacle of the workshop featured a closing address and certificate awarding ceremony, graced by the presence of Major General KVNP Premaratne RSP USP psc, the General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division. His presence added a touch of honor to the occasion, emphasizing the significance the event.

The Senior Non Commissioned Officers' Workshop (2024-1) stands as a testament to the commitment of the School of Artillery in nurturing its junior leaders and ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency.
