2024-02-09Lt Col E M G N Samaranayake psc IG SLA, assumed duties as the 10th Commanding Officer of the 15 Drone Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery on 5th February 2024, at Headquarters, 15 Drone Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, Maho.
The programme of assuming duties commenced with reviewing the Guard turnout. Lt Col E M G N Samaranayake psc IG SLA, placed his signature on a formal document after a brief religious observance as a symbolic gesture of taking over the command. The day's events included planting a sapling, a troop address, and a camp visit.
