5th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery has organized a New Year Festival
2015-04-305th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery has organized a New Year Festival in association with Nestle Company at Public Play Ground Pulleadicholei, Neelapola on 28th April 2015. Festival was featured with Sinhala and Hindu cultural events observing traditional practices and customs. The Commanding Officer Lt Col L Ranchagoda SLA together with all members of 5 SLA endeavoured to make the event a success. Over thousand five hundred Sinhala and Tamil villagers of Maingamam, Pulliadicholei, Kanguweli, Dehiwatta , Somapura ,Neelapola , Muthur, Serunuwara ,Kiliweddi seen enjoying in all events and immensely benefitted by this important social activity.
Brig HLVM Liyanage RWP RSP Commander of 224 Brigade graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and days programme concluded with the entertainment provided by the “Soldiers” music band of 5th Regiment.
