Poson Dansal Programme
2015-06-02As the Poson Festival in the offing, the members of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch conducted a Dansala at Sri Bodhirajarama Viharaya – Panagoda in the moon lit evening of 1st June 2015.
Dansal was organized with full patronage of Seva Vanitha Branch under the close supervision of its Chairperson, Mrs Premilla Perera. Number of members of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch was seen volunteering in distributing Ice Cream for public in pilgrimage to attend the Sumiyuru Dharma Dheshanaya organized by the Army Seva Vanitha Unit at the Bodhirajaramaya.
4th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery contributed in the event by way of arranging the place and the Dansala lasted for about an hour and a half with successful serving of over 2000 ice-cream cones to the visitors.
