House constructed by 6 SLA was handed over to S/156566 Bdr Malporu MMBA on 21 February 2012 at Buthpitiya, Yakkala
2012-02-22Three more houses constructed from the Gunner Supercross 2011 were handed over by the President of Army Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Manjulika Jayasuriya to soldiers of the Regiment of Artillery on 21 February 2012 making the total to 12. House constructed by the 6 SLA at Buthpitiya Yakkala was handed over at the auspicious time of 0914 hrs followed by the house of 10 SLA at Miriswatta Gampaha at 1047 hrs and house of 5 SLA at Makawita Gampaha at 1215 hrs respectively by the Mrs. Manjulika Jayasuriya. Colonel Commandant, Commander Artillery Brigade, Senior Officers, President of Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch, Presidents' of other Regiment Seva Vanitha Branches and members of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch were attended for the ceremonies. This Project was initiated to construct 15 houses in total. The balance 03 houses presently under constructions are to be handed over next month.
